After Your Shift
You just finished a shift — nice work! Here's what happens next and how your effort gets recognized.
Logging Your Results
If you were canvassing or phone banking, your results are already saved from the app. But some events ask you to complete a quick debrief:
• How did it go? — a quick rating (great, good, tough)
• Any notable conversations? — flag interesting or important interactions
• Feedback for organizers — suggestions for next time
This takes about 30 seconds and helps organizers improve future events.

Your Hours Are Tracked
ActionGrid automatically logs your volunteer hours based on your check-in and check-out times. You can view your total hours in your profile under My Impact.
If the hours don't look right (maybe you forgot to check out), you can submit a correction request from the shift details page.
Your hours are tracked automatically from check-in to check-out
Earning Badges
After your shift, check your notifications — you might have earned a badge! Common badges include:
• First Timer — completed your first shift
• Door Knocker — completed your first canvass
• Phone Pro — completed your first phone bank
• Streak Starter — volunteered two weeks in a row
• Century Club — knocked 100 doors
Badges are awarded after completing milestones
Keep the Momentum Going
The easiest time to sign up for your next shift is right after finishing one. Check the "Recommended Next" section at the bottom of your shift summary to find similar upcoming events.
